The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Light Emitting Diode (LED) Equipment For Use In Lighting Products, UL 8750, are being proposed:

1. Revision to the scope to elaborate on limitations

2. Revision to flammability requirements for secondary optics. Revision to flammability requirements for direct plug-in and through cord units for clarification

3. Revisions to requirements for enclosure openings

4. Revisions to strain and pushback relief requirements for clarification

5. Revision of requirements for electrical spacings

6. Revision of requirements for protective devices to make reference to fusing resistors and thermostats

7. Revision to Supplement SA for a more clear decision path to determine compliance

8. Revisions to Supplement SC to align Type TL LED driver requirements with Class P LED driver types

9. Revisions to requirements in Supplement SE

10. Insulation systems of insulating transformers interacting with NIM (Non-Electrical Insulating Material)
