SUMMARY OF TOPICS

The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Motor Control Centers, UL 845, are being proposed:

1. Addition of 4.2.2 to correspond with 4th edition of UL 845.

2. Revision of 6.3.8 to add a blank after the word "rating."

3. Revision of 6.3.50 to address Cautionary Marking Letter Size.

4. Addition of 6.3.62 marking requirement.

5. Revision of wording in Tables 7, 8, and 9, footnote "A."

6. Revision of 8.1.7.0 and addition of 8.2.25.6 to address indirect locking schemes.

7. Revision of 8.2.4.1 to correct clause references.

8. Revision to 8.2.10.3 to correct clause references.

9. Addition of 8.2.13.15 and 8.2.13.16 to correspond with 4th edition of UL 845.

10. Revision of clauses to reference Table 17 to clarify the meaning of "ampacity."

11. Addition of 8.2.20.7 (d) to be consistent with UL 891.

12. Revise 8.2.26.11 to clarify spacing requirements.

13. Revision of 8.2.31.3.1 to correct terminology.

14. Revision of 9.3.18 temperature test requirements.

15. Revision of 9.10.3.3, 9.10.10.5, and 8.3.10 to clarify requirements for doors when running a bus withstand test.

16. F Revision of 9.10.7 to remove "connections" from the title.

17. Revise the reference in clause 9.12.1.6 to include reference to line connections.

18. Revision of 9.12.6.3 and addition of 9.12.6.4 to clarify requirements for cases where the unit short-circuit rating is higher than the withstand rating of the disconnect switch

19. Revision of Table 19 to add headers.

20. Revision of Table 20 to correct errors.

21. Revision of Table 22 to correct errors.

22. Revision of Table 24 to correct subscript errors.

23. Revision of Table 27 to show temperature in Kelvin (K).

24. Revision of Table 27 to add superscript "m" to define the location point for the temperature rise measurement.

25. Revision of Table 27 to add requirment to monitor the temperature of a bus bar at the point where it connects to a breaker.

26. Revision of Table 33 to delete superscript "c."
