The proposed new edition reflects an updated title and text that replaces the terminology from "fixture" to "luminaires." The new edition proposes to clarify 40.4 by specifying a flammability rating, rather than reference the flammability requirements specified in UL 746C, the Standard for Polymeric Materials - Use In Electrical Equipment. This proposal eliminates confusion regarding which requirements in UL 746C are to be applied. STP BALLOTS AND ALL COMMENTS DUE: May 21, 2004
